SEATTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Having each other is the most important thing to Heidi and Jack. Being a family of 3, they loved that their 1.5 year old, John, could be part of the wedding day but were thankful for much help as they were able to enjoy some of the time just the two of them.

I loved her choice in floral robes as the girls enjoyed their prep and champagne time. The guys opened their gifts as they got ready which was a cool flask-cigar holder combo!

They decided on a first look which is so wonderful to carve out time for an some intimate portraits. We decided to do them down at the pond at Lord Hill Farms. It is a bit of a walk and a tad sandy but as my second photographer captured, I simply carried my bride to the dock where her groom was waiting. (Anything for the shot!)

Their first look was out of a storybook. The scenery and the ease of their nature together was so romantic.

We took time to do some portraits then add in the bridal party and family before heading to the ceremony. It was definitely in the cards to have little John carry a sign down the aisle proceeding his moms entrance however he had other plans of playing in the fountain away from the site.

Regardless they said their vows and were pronounced husband and wife! They kissed and headed to cocktail hour and a lovely reception inside. With toasts of people who love these two and support them and their future it was wonderful to hear more about their life together.

Later in the night the guys broke out their cigars, let me say I am thankful not much ash dropped on me AND not too many of them coughed up a lung ….just happy in the end we got a few cigar photos!!

They danced the night away and left while everyone held sparklers and cheered them on!

Heidi & Jack, thank you for trusting me. It is an honor to have been there to witness your love and connection which is evident you have lots of!
