SEATTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Kyle was a delivery driver and she worked in the office. I guess you can say ‘POP’ brought these two together as they worked at Pepsi.
They saw each other almost every day even if it was just for a few minutes. The extent of their conversations was a basic “hello, how was your day today?” but somehow it was enough of a connection to feel that it could be different. When Danika first started it was hard for her to remember most of the guys names because there was so many of them, but Kyle stood out to her…maybe it was his kindness, maybe it was his smile or maybe it was his super muscular tattooed arms.  All of these things had her intrigued to know more.
Kyle didn’t know much about her either, except that she had a little boy who is her whole world and also made him  assume that she was married. Needless to say, their day to day lives and priorities were extremely different at that time.
Danika, maybe a little impatient decided to make the first move by asking Kyle if he was seeing anyone…when he confirmed he was single she lead in with asking how he felt about kids.  With Kyle having an open mind to dating someone with a child, Danika said ‘Great, I think you’ll be perfect for one of my friends!’.  Kyle, a bit taken back chuckled and although hesitant, agreed to go on a date with her friend.
They exchanged numbers and started to get to know one another, because of course Danika had to be sure that he was perfect for her friend and vice versa before they met. Well, needless to say, her friend never got to meet him. Danika and Kyle quickly realized that they had a connection and Kyle eventually asked her out on a date. She knew that she really liked him but whether or not it could continue would all be determined on how Kyle and Colton (her so) interacted together.
Eventually she introduced Colton to Kyle and over time she was in awe of the bond they created together and she knew she wanted him in their lives forever.  Not sure when Kyle knew, but she thinks he was surprised how easily he blended into our lives and just how naturally it all just happened.
Fast forward 8 months, it was a monday evening and the house was pitch black.  Danika walked in the house thinking the power was maybe out. She reluctantly opened the door to walk up the stairs and when she turned around, there was a beaming bright light at the top of the stairwell. When she got closer she saw the most beautiful diamond ring. Kyle flipped on the lights, and sitting there on the top of the stairs was Kyle with big letter balloons that spelled out “Marry Me”. She instantly teared up, and before Kyle could say anything she said ‘YES YES’ and hugged him.
Both Danika and Kyle agree they were the missing piece of each other’s lives that we both never realized we needed. Being together, the 3 of them, makes them feel completely whole!!  It is so beautiful!
Thanks to Porch.com for letting us photograph in their building and having their session around Sodo Park in Seattle  was perfect on a typical overcast PNW day.
