They were 8 and it definitely was not love at first sight. After years of friend interactions, becoming best friends, then dating, traveling, getting a dog, love emerged and Thomas finally proposed AND here they are!!
Walking into Teresa’s room at the Fairmont Olympic hotel it was full of laughter. So laid back and the girls all relaxed while getting pampered! Sarah Ren doing their hair and makeup all of this before this epic time of Quarantine. Hand sanitizer and air fives were starting to become a way of life but not full on enforced yet!
Thomas and his best friends arrived for the first look around noon and did he look dapper. With his tie in an intricate Trinity Knot, and blue velvet suit coat…not to mention his penguin cufflinks and tie clip…on point!
We did their first look at the Fairmont, in between the random rain drops! They were both so excited to see each other and Thomas ended up just embracing that he looked amazing with Teresa’s red lipstick on him as well! Haha…
We later migrated to the ceremony and reception venue, Fremont Foundry. Although the rain hindered the use of the rooftop area we were able to use the beautifully lit upstairs areas!!
Their ceremony was short and sweet and very sincere with a nice side of light heartedness provided by Teresa’s brother who acted as the officiant.
Cocktail hour was upstairs and party favors were gifted by the groomsmen. Beer made by one groomsmen and coffee with special labels by the other!!
Despite some of the regulations the State was starting to enforce with regards to weddings and social gatherings they had a beautiful wedding and wonderful to see all of the love and support they received despite the situation happening in the world.
It’s hard to believe how much has changed in just 2 weeks. It feels like this all happened so long ago as we are all in isolation at this point.
The best part is these 2 are married and stuck at home together enjoying wedded bliss (or maybe counseling at this point) but I think either way with their sense of humor they are managing just fine.
So honored to have been part of this special day!!
