Being the 2 year anniversary of their first date, Rebeca & Kyle thought Friday August 24th was the perfect day to commit forever to each other. And…it was. The weather, the people, the location…it could not have turned out better.
They had a beautiful ceremony and were married by Father Walmesley at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church in Seattle. With Kyle and Rebeca opting to be a bit more traditional and not see each prior to the ceremony it was awesome to see his smiling face as she walked down the aisle. Rebeca, radiant as always was beaming as she approached Kyle. They shared in communion and exchanged vows and said their ‘I DO’s’.
After finishing with portraits and family photos we headed to Salty’s on Alki wedding venue. Rebeca and Kyle carved out some special time to have some private portraits around the water. These two are just easy together. I love the way Rebeca’s nose crinkles when she smiles at Kyle and the way Kyles 6’6” stature envelopes her when they embrace. Watching them saunter, dance and even skip captured some of their relaxed nature.
As they entered the reception everyone was so excited for them. Seeing their close friends and family cheer them on was invigorating! They had a quaint reception enjoying the view, followed by some fun on the dance floor. With a bit of the smoky haze clearing we were able to get a photo of them with the city lights in the background. A perfect way to see Seattle’s newest couple!
Congratulations and much love!
