It had already been a lifetime of living when Richard and Libby reconnected. He is the man she never knew she always wanted. But now…she knows HE is the ONE.
Richard, taking a break from dating, ran into Libby and knew it was a special connection. Being close with his co-workers he would talk about his past dates but somehow he wouldn’t speak of Libby. One day, his mom boss leaning over his shoulder as Richard looked at Libby’s facebook profile, asked who she was. Richard blushed and admitted Libby was different, it was then Nina knew (and hoped) Libby was the one.
Once they started seeing each other more often it wasn’t long before they knew it was different. Richard being the kind hearted man he is embraced Libby’s children as if they were his own. Libby not giving Richard all the attention deep down knew she wanted to give him all her love & affection.
Hearing their vows and seeing all of this in living proof on their wedding day was inspiring. They have a way they laugh together. The way he picks her up and she laughs effortlessly. The way they forget that anyone else is around.
I saw a spark in you guys that honestly is rare. Genuine, real, raw love!
I love how their family and friends surrounded them and pulled together this DIY wedding. Celebrating it on Libby’s parents private orchard in Sequim made it all the more special. Her attention to detail and creative ways of displaying décor was beautiful! It was certainly a labor of love!! And a big shout out to Libby’s mom, Debbie…artist, crafter…creator!
Now they are Mr. & Mrs. Rogers and I could not be happier for them. I left with a full heart and some of the dearest friends. And seriously aren’t they gorgeous!?
