Photography that gives life to your
images...telling your unique love story.

SEATTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

It only took one date and Nic knew he would marry Kanani.  With each of them having a daughter and sharing similar family values it didn’t take long for both of them to fall fast!  The girls love each other as well as appreciate having another parent in their lives.

As Nic gazed at Kanani it was evident he has a patient and tender way about him with her, despite some of her anxious feelings both planning the wedding and on the wedding day.  He calms her and reassures her which sometimes is all she needs.

They decided to have their wedding in Oahu Hawaii.  Having known Kanani for many years (I happened to be her boss in a previous life in the world of escrow)…I now got to boss her around on her wedding day and be her photographer…or maybe it was  the other way around (just sayin’)!?

It was an honor to be able to make the trip to photograph such a special day and important couple!  They got ready at the Marriott.  It was a beautiful resort and surrounding area.  Of course I happened to take them to a section of the property that they didn’t want us photographing on but that is par for the course with photography…(a little trespassing never hurt).

After taking in some of the scenery with both Kanani and Nic as well as the bridal party we headed West to ‘Makanaonalani Gardens’…which means “Heavens Gift’.

It was a private little gated off ceremony area that friends and family gathered at.  They had sentimental nuptials that included a gift and vows to their children.   After saying ‘I DO’…they enjoyed some authentic Hawaiian dishes, cake, a game, Kanani performed a little Hula dance for Nic and ended with a cultural version of a money dance.   Listening to the love and support these two have around them, even if some of it seems far from Washington, is inspiring.

Having watched Kanani search for love for a long time…and now seeing her find a man that loves and cares for her and Kaily, in such a delicate, nurturing way made me so happy!!  I was blessed to be able to be there to take it all in.

So much love to you!!!
