Little did Lucas realize that 6 years ago his life would change forever.  As a beautiful ginger bounced into the RAM, a restaurant they had previously agreed to meet at from some online conversations, he could tell  there was something special about her.  Isabela having a natural, easy going way about her found Lucas to be rather handsome and interesting as well.  The combination meant fireworks and from that first in person date they were in separable.

They moved in together after a year of dating and since finishing school and starting careers Lucas knew it was the time to propose.  One evening they decided to have a night out in Seattle.  Taking in the Aquarium and the Great Wheel it seemed to be the perfect time to ask Isabela.   Lucas asked, she answered and of course it was a YES!!

Now planning a wedding at Jardin del Sol in the late summer they are enjoying being engaged.

We did their engagement photos in Tacoma around Point Defiance Park and it turned out to be a beautiful day.  Isabela decided to wear more of a princess style dress as her wedding dress is quite different from that.  Why not feel and dress like a princess if you can!!??  Adding to her love of a big dress were their animals.  They have 2 cats and a dog so of course having them join us for part of the shoot is always fun…I never claim to be a pet whisperer but we managed to work it out!
