They were both focused on school and were definitely not going to date anyone let alone find ‘the one’.  Well we all know how that goes…Hanna and Matthew found each other, in class.  And although they didn’t date right off the bat, one conversation led to another and on a hot, summer, PNW day they said ‘I Do’ at the Lookout Lodge wedding venue in Snohomish.

These two are goofy and vulnerable and enamored with each other.  They challenge each other and are up for whatever the future may hold despite the unknown!

I have known the Matthews family ‘The Groomes’ for quite a few years.  Having done his senior photos it is an honor to have been asked to document his wedding as well!   And it’s the first time to have a bride become a ‘Groome, I am sure that joke is getting old for them, but, oh well.

I have a lot of respect for how these two have come together and made a covenant to each other to serve God and each other forever. Watching how they each would glance at each other during the toasts and how tender they were together was very sweet.
