Feleric…that is their ‘celebrity’ combined name…but actually they bring it to life by calling themselves ‘THE FELERIC’. I have to say I have come to appreciate them for so much more than their good looks. OK maybe not so much Eric, but Felicity. The girl gets me. Or maybe I get her. And although this isn’t about our relationship, I will miss our email banter as she has a way with her words that makes me fall off my chair laughing…Thank you for that Felicity.
Ok back to you guys…
These two think they are awkward but they have a deep love that exudes itself in much laughter. And they do better in front of the camera than they will ever admit. As I sat back and watched them interact, although picky (maybe specific or a TAD bit OCD is a better way to describe her) Felicity likes to have fun. And Eric…well let’s just say I know he CAN be serious, he just isn’t most of the time. Together they truly balance each other out.
Deciding to have their wedding at Green Gates at Flowing Lake with Simply by Tamara Nicole planning it (along side Felicity of course) was a dream. So many details and things specific to them. Quotes (which are my favorite), Hors d’oeuvres to die for, and signature drinks named after their dogs…and that was just the start. Blue Ribbon Catering made a scrumptious meal, there was cake by The Cakewalk Shop and to top it off, a yummy dessert table filled with quite the assortment of treats.
The gals were rather casual getting ready in the bridal suite. As they got Felicity buttoned in her dress they were up for a few fun photos. Of course I had to get a few portraits to capture her stunning-ness and include that exquisite bouquet by Wild Bloom Floral.
The guys, listening to football, drinking their favorite beer were trying to tie each others ties were in good spirits. It took a bit of coordination but they finally made it happen.
Eric & Felicity opted for a first look…which of course I LOVE! And hearing Eric was way better than my photo can even portray. He was complimenting her on her eye lashes and makeup and overall in awe of how beautiful Felicity looked. I mean come on this girl is GORGE…that hair, those freckles…and an Orbitz smile to die for (you know the gum commercial with the sparkle)?
These two had the perfect day. Sun, family, friends. Even their dogs, Seger and Shawn (yes Shawn) barked as the minister pronounced them husband and wife. They certainly know their mom and dad.
Their ceremony was filled with readings and a lot of love. Erics mom read a quote from Will Ferrell and although I can’t remember it, I remember thinking ‘I must get a copy of that’…so please if you have it- send it to me!!
They had yard games, adult bouncy balls, a craft station…they thought of it all and SBTN executed it flawlessly.
As the night progressed some of the most touching speeches were given. One that stood out to me was by Felicity’s dad. Gosh that girl is loved and people love her and Eric together. When you see how another person can make the one you love light up…LOVE is definitely worth it.
Dancing commenced and glow sticks, glasses and necklaces were enjoyed by all. Having fun, enjoying life is what ‘THE FELERIC’ stands for…and they do it with ease.
They are now in Tuscany for 3 weeks…with a bunch of their friends…like isn’t that the best honeymoon idea ever!!???
You two make me laugh. And again although it’s not about me, you remind me about LOVE and how fun it should be. I know you have had your issues but together you make it seem easy!
