It was Beccas’ parents’ private homestead. With losing her mom only a couple of years ago it felt sentimental and the right thing to do to have their wedding there. Becca & John embraced their family and friends and shared in an intimate ceremony & reception. Many words, laughs and tears were shared along with a lot of love and blessings that everyone poured over this special couple.
With the blending of 3 heritages (Japanese, British, and American) these 2 are a perfect match.
The guys made their own boutonnieres which was a new ‘activity’ I had never seen at a wedding, and the couple made their own special blend of tea as the ‘favor’ for each guest.
They have a fabulous, solid community surrounding them and it will be exciting to see where life takes them (especially since Becca doesn’t like to do dishes, they may need some good friends to help out 😉 )…
I always love what I learn about the couple during toasts but most of all watching them light up when people share about their love is the best.
All the best Becca and John!
