Meeting years ago in College these two have cultivated a tight knit group of friends. They have walked through many seasons of life so far, through love and loss and some unexpected events of life.
With Alyssa’s mother passing away there were some emotional moments, one being Alyssa gifting her dad, brother and Charlie with a diamond pin that had gold from her moms jewelry melted down to make it. All of them were super surprised and it was such a tender moment to witness!
Hearing how everyone experiences both Alyssa and Charlie to be authentic and genuine, with equally huge hearts was really inspiring. These two don’t just love each other, they live in adoration of one another.
Getting ready at Hotel 1000 we tried to take in some of the city (maybe risking my life a few times with some street shots – but always worth it). We then migrated in the party bus to St. James Cathedral for the ceremony.
Later they reconvened and enjoyed dinner and dancing at Melrose Market Studios. It was a perfectly quaint day filled with sentimental notes and tons of love and promise of an exciting future!
