SEATTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

They met while she was injured but that didn’t hinder Aaron for falling for this girl! He absolutely adores her and…she knows him so well she was sure to plan parts of the day to suit his needs!
The guys got ready downtown at a friends condo and the ladies at Diana and Aarons’ home. We later shuttled to Discovery Park where Diana allotted for so much time we were able to take in 3 different areas. This is my kind of bride…overplanning and compensating for traffic that we didn’t even hit!
The ladies arrived a bit early so we did a few of their portraits first. With Aaron arriving right on time he couldn’t wait to see his bride. They opted for a first look which is always a fabulous idea as it gives so much more time for portraits and enjoying the evening later. I love that Discovery Park has golden grass and Diana and Aaron were more than willing to trudge through it although it was long…knowing it was all to embrace and see each other for the first time. Aaron’s excitement is almost uncontainable. The two of them together… all smiles and they always seem to break into laughter easily.
Diana didn’t seem to mind too much having tons of grass woven into her lace by the time we were done…it’s all part of enjoying the day right!?
The bridal party was very obliging and cooperative which is all one can ask for!! Taking in multiple sites, getting in and out of the party bus they were quite good sports.
We later headed to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center wedding venue and between some snacks, water, and family portraits they were ready for the ceremony.
It was a beautiful rooftop ceremony with just the right amount of breeze and a gorgeous view of Seattle. The officiant recapped their relationship and they said their “I DO’s”. Happy to be married they went to have a quiet moment and take it all in.
A rooftop cocktail hour was a must and so much fun for the guests…a breathtaking city view, the best weather, and tasty food.
Despite a bit of haze we were still able to take in some sunset views before heading to the reception.
The reception was filled with a few toasts, special dances including Aaron’s own money dance…and an evening filled with a ton of energy on the dance floor! Oh and let’s not forget cake…pink cake…and then to top it off a flower pedal exit.
Pier 66 didn’t disappoint and Diana & Aaron cannot wait to take off to Africa for their adventure honeymoon that awaits them!
Congrats you two!
